I'm the metalsmith and maker behind GlassStoneStudio.
Before becoming a metalsmith I worked as a surgical technologist for 13 years, a career that required focus, precision, and dependability. That experience shaped the way I work today, and I bring that same care, attention to detail, and steady guidance to both my bench and my workshops.
With guidance from exceptional mentors and a strong self-taught foundation, I've been on my metalsmithing journey for several years. What began as a personal creative practice has grown into a real passion for both making and teaching — especially helping beginners work with metal for the very first time.
Every piece of jewelry at GlassStoneStudio is completely handmade by me. I work primarily in sterling silver and stone, creating one-of-a-kind pieces with an organic, free-flowing feel. I'm drawn to natural shapes, movement, and texture, allowing the unique character of each stone to guide the design.
For me, metalsmithing is about more than shaping silver and stone. It's about slowing down, creating with purpose, and making something lasting by hand. Whether I'm making a piece for someone to wear or guiding someone through making their own, my hope is that each piece carries a sense of beauty, pride, and connection for years to come.
